Jamal AlYousif is a Bahraini sculptor working primarily with glass and stainless steel. With over three decades of artistic practice, his work explores the inner human condition—duality, fragility, strength, and transformation—through abstract and symbolic sculptural forms.

My sculptures are inspired by themes such as psychological transformation, alienation, longing, memory, and the tension between strength and vulnerability. I use symbolic abstraction rather than literal representation, allowing each viewer to experience the work in a personal and reflective way.

My practice combines engineering discipline, hands-on craftsmanship, and philosophical depth. Every stage of the process—concept, fabrication, glass firing, and finishing—is executed by me personally. Each sculpture is conceived as both a physical presence and an emotional experience.

Yes. My works have been exhibited regionally and internationally, including in the United States, and are held in private and institutional collections.
